Our Story
Lua Bastet was born in 2021, when the world felt incredibly chaotic, and Shanice needed a ritual to call herself home. She began making candles and bath products in her kitchen. These were small acts of magic for herself, quiet moments of return.
What started as personal practice soon became something she shared with friends and family, and their response was overwhelming.
They felt it too: that pull back to center, that permission to slow down and tend to themselves. After a few years of selling on Etsy and in markets,
Shanice paused to deepen her vision.
Now, Lua Bastet is relaunching with renewed intention and staying true to what makes us different in a world of trends.
Our candles and bath products are made to be woven into moon rituals, glamour magic, moments of adornment, and affirmation.
Whether you're lighting a candle while speaking your desires to the universe or massaging our candle oil into your skin, each product holds space for you to honor yourself.

Bastet is an ancient Egyptian deity and goddess. Known as both a fierce protector and nurturer of homes. Lua Bastet holds this duality, creating sacred space where you can feel both grounded and free, protected yet open to transformation.
